Conceived by Rainer Becker, creator and co-founder of Zuma, Roka and Oblix restaurants, INKO NITO opened in Soho in 2018.

An accessible and approachable restaurant, INKO NITO weaves Japanese dishes with Korean influences to seamlessly create bold flavours in a fun, relaxed environment. The robata grill is the dynamic centerpiece of the restaurant, allowing diners to experience the energy of the kitchen first-hand.

Sunday brunch is served from 11.30am – 8.00pm and includes a selection of starters to share, one main course per person and a dessert platter for £35 per person, (£49.50 with free-flowing wine and sparkling wine).

A curated list of cocktails, all made in house, are served on tap, with favourites including the INKO Spritz, with watermelon, Aperol, yuzu and sparkling wine, and the Ichigo Negroni, combining gin, plum sake, Merlet strawberry and Campari.

The interiors concept was created by Los Angeles-based Studio Mai, who were inspired by the buzz and lively atmosphere of dining in a street market. Featuring simplistic and laid-back décor, the space contrasts rustic textures using natural stone, reclaimed timber and steel. In an unconventional take on traditional Japanese seating, each table is positioned at an array of heights, to give each guest a unique view of the robata which is surrounded by casual counter seating creating an engaging social space for diners.
